You can help the Volunteer Center of the Redwoods and RSVP continue to make a difference to people living in Del Norte and Humboldt Counties through your tax-deductible gifts. Your gift of a memorial, honorarium, and general donation make it possible for us to sustain the work of more than 1300 volunteers who serve our community in many important ways. Volunteers are the heart and soul of what "community" means, as those who serve give to those who are in need.
We thank you for your support and are inspired in our work because of your generosity. To make a contribution mail a check payable to:

We have also established endowment funds, through Humboldt Area Foundation, to support our programs in perpetuity. There is no better way to leave a legacy than by making an endowment gift through estate planning or during the course of your lifetime. The following endowment funds support volunteerism:
Volunteer Center of the Redwoods Endowment Fund - benefits Volunteer Center operations. This fund was established in 2001 to increase support and recognition for volunteers of all ages. The Volunteer Center also seeks to increase support to community organizations through volunteer management trainings and technical assistance.
Charlotte Tropp Memorial Fund - benefits the RSVP operations. Charlotte Tropp served as the Director of RSVP from its inception in 1974 to 1988. Her vision and leadership inspired countless older people to explore creative paths in their lives through volunteering, thereby enriching their communities.
Service and Volunteerism Fund - benefits the North Coast Regional Network for Service and Volunteerism (NCRN), which is convened by the Volunteer Center of the Redwoods. NCRN envisions Humboldt and Del Norte counties as places where people of all ages and abilities are invited to engage in service that unites us in addressing crucial community needs.
