The Agency's Director of Financial Services is a CPA with over 25 years of accounting experience.
A certified public accounting firm is engaged to conduct an annual independent audit. In addition, the California Department of Aging conducts regular audit visits.
Over the years, the A1AA has been fortunate to receive bequests, memorials and donations that have allowed us to establish several Endowment Funds. These funds will be used to provide and sustain senior and volunteer programs. Gifts and donations help the Agency make a difference in the lives of older adults living in Humboldt and Del Norte counties.
