The California Senior Legislature (CSL) was formed in 1981 to provide a community level senior advocacy. CSL members are responsible for the creation of legislative bill proposals. Statewide, members of CSL meet for an annual session in October in Sacramento to discuss and prioritize the bill proposals.
The A1AA Advisory Council conducts a local CSL election every four years. Both the Senior Senator and Assemblymember seats for PSA1 are currently vacant. The next election will occur in 2010.
