Volunteer Driver Program

Program Purpose: This program provides transportation to and from healthcare appointments and grocery shopping in Humboldt County.

Intake Process: To schedule an intake please call (707) 273-3659.

Program Hours: Operating hours of the program are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eligible passengers must call at least 5 business days in advance prior to appointment to schedule transportation.

Eligible Passengers: Seniors (age 50* and over) who are living independently and have limited resources. Our program covers the areas from Trinidad to Scotia and inland to Blue Lake.

Screening: Potential clients must be screened and agree to the program guidelines before rides can be scheduled. Screening may be done by phone and signed Rider Guideline form may be mailed or faxed.
